Singh has been reserved for blaming the UP government for being “supportive of Thakur” and offending the Dalits by not welcoming President Ram Nath Kovind to the establishment stone laying service of Ram Janmabhoomi sanctuary in Ayodhya.
Singh was reserved under areas 153-An (advancing hatred between various gatherings on ground of religion) and 505 (1)(b) (with expectation to cause, or which is probably going to cause, dread or alert to the general population) of IPC in Aligarh, Lakhimpur Kheri and Muzaffarnagar on grievances documented by three nearby occupants.
The complainants blamed the MP for “spreading contempt among general society based on station, and religion”.
They claimed that Singh attempted to “prompt different standings of Hindu religion against the state government and disregarded sacred nobility too by passing such an announcement”.
As indicated by the complainants, Singh, during a question and answer session on August 12, had expressed that individuals have begun calling the STF as an “Extraordinary Thakur Force”, which was “executing Brahmins specifically”.
