An Auxiliary Nursing Midwife (ANM), who was carrying COVID-19 vaccines to a well being centre on a two-wheeler, died in a street accident in Narayanpet on Wednesday morning. A lorry rammed the bike of M. Varalakshmi, aged 42, killing her immediately.
Expressing condolences over her demise, Well being Minister T. Harish Rao assured insurance coverage of ₹50 lakh from the federal government. A contractual job to an eligible member of the family was additionally promised. The State authorities bore the bills for her funeral.
