The previous Union Minister C.M. Ibrahim, who was sad over not being appointed Chief of the Opposition within the Legislative Council, on Saturday tendered resignation from the first membership of the Congress.
In a letter addressed to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, Mr. Ibrahim mentioned he was additionally forwarding his resignation to the membership of the Legislative Council to the Council Chairman, by way of Chief of the Opposition Siddaramaiah. Mr. Ibrahim is all set to affix the JD(S).
