The Janandolana Mahamaitri(JMM) and Residents for Democracy (CFD) launched the Jana Jagruti Jatha (consciousness marketing campaign) from BasavaKalyan of Bidar district on Tuesday demanding the State authorities to abolish the farmers’ payments in State, and in addition repeal amendments to the Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) Act and Karnataka Land Reforms Act.
President of the JMM S.R.Hiremath flagged off the jatha from Anubhava Mantapa in Basavakalyan city demanding that the State authorities withdraw draconian farm legal guidelines on the traces of the Central Authorities.
