In 2015, a number of months earlier than the incidence of the crime, Avudaiyappan approached Ramalakshmi’s mother and father and promised them that he would take correct care of his spouse and youngsters. He requested them to reunite his spouse with him.
Ramalakshmi’s mother and father conceded his request and the couple moved right into a home close to her mother and father’ home. However, on the fateful day, the couple quarrelled once more, and the kids ran to their grandparents’ home to alert them.
Once they rushed to Ramalakshmi’s home, her mother and father discovered Avudaiyappan hitting her with an iron rod. Once they tried to intervene, he threatened them and ran away with the iron rod. Ramalakshmi succumbed to her accidents.
Tirunelveli police had booked a case below Part 302 (homicide) of the Indian Penal Code.
