Bollywood entertainer Sonu Sood, against whom the BMC has documented a police grievance of supposed illicit development, met NCP boss Sharad Pawar at the
last’s home in Mumbai on Wednesday, a source said. The explanation for the gathering was not quickly known.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) a week ago recorded a protest at Juhu police headquarters here, looking for a FIR to be held up against Sood for purportedly changing over a private structure into an inn without authorization.
The grumbling letter was shipped off the police after the BMC examined the structure and found that Sood had supposedly not consented to the orders, and was proceeding with unapproved development even after a notification was served to him in October a year ago.
The police are yet to enroll FIR for the situation.
The entertainer has moved toward the Bombay High Court to challenge the BMC’s notification.
Sood, who is known for his jobs in movies like “Dabangg”, “Jodha Akbar” and “Simmba”, came into spotlight in 2020 for his generosity work in assisting travelers with arriving at their homes during the COVID-19 lockdown.
