The Tiruvallur District Crime Department police on Friday booked a case towards two associates of former AIADMK Minister B.V.Ramana for dishonest a job aspirant after receiving cash to get him appointment in transport company.
In response to the complainant P.Balakrishnan, 35, of Villupuram district, C.Annamalai, an AIADMK functionary acquired ₹ 3.5 lakh from him on the MLA’s workplace in Tiruvallur in 2015 for getting him employment as an electrician in a transport company. Whereas he was receiving the cash, the previous minister’s private assistant Sivaprakasam was additionally current. From 2015, they saved laying aside returning the quantity and didn’t get him the job as promised, he alleged.
The criticism was lodged with Tiruvallur SP R.V.Varun Kumar. The criticism was forwarded to the District Crime Department. A case has been booked on Annamalai and Sivaprakasam below Sections 420 (dishonest) and 406 (Punishment for Legal Breach of Belief) of IPC.
